Additional dance track on the CD single of 'A State Of Affairs'. 'Living In Your Shadow' is a song dealing with past partners of lovers, and how bad past experiences can influence future relationships. The lyrics are from the point of view of a man in an existing relationship, talking about (or to) his parter's last companion, considering that perhaps he is hearing a biased side of the story and that his partner is using past events as an excuse to behave inappropriately.

The production of 'Living In Your Shadow' has a solid Euro Dance feel to it, utilising Yamaha's RM1x Sequence Remixer for the beats, bass and string pads, and the Novation A-Station for the analogue modelled synthesizer effects and lead chorus melody. 'Living In Your Shadow' can also be found on Trust No One's 2004 'Tempo Changes' promotional CD Sampler.
