A dancey synth-based song, and the second track to be taken from Trust No One's third album 'Younger Than Some, Smarter Than Most'. 'Permanent Summer' was originally recorded in demo form back in 1998, using Yamaha's SY85 synthesizer and Roland's 8-track VS-880P Digital Studio Workstation. The song has finally been completed in 2002, enhanced by the addition of a Yamaha RM1x Sequence Remixer and Roland's 18-track VS-1824CD Digital Studio.

The song is about entering into a new relationship after leaving a previous one; encouraging the new partner to throw caution to the wind and forget past anxieties.
