Trust No One will reply by email with the song sent as an attachment! To preview the song, a Real Audio stream and a lo-fidelity 56kbps MP3 audio excerpt can be downloaded below.

The song is recorded in a similar style to The Monkees' version, with synthesized trumpets, trombones, strings and bass, and an electric guitar mimicking the original. Andrew wanted to record a version of this tune, as it brings back good memories of a Karaoke session with his friends during a lads' weekend in Margate back in 1996 (a picture of which is featured below).

Lyrics
Oh, I could hide 'neath the wings
Of the bluebird as she sings
The six o'clock alarm would never ring
But it rings, and I rise
Wipe the sleep out of my eyes
My shaving razor's cold, and it stings

Cheer up sleepy Jean
Oh what can it mean
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen?

You once thought of me
As a white knight on his steed
Now you know how happy I can be
Oh, and our good times start and end
Without dollar one to spend
But how much baby do we really need?

Cheer up sleepy Jean
Oh what can it mean
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen?

Cheer up sleepy Jean
Oh what can it mean
To a daydream believer
And a homecoming queen?
